"Nisha lost her mother, grew up bearing responsibilities no teenager should carry - and yet she shows up every day with honesty, dedication and a dancer's grace."
Nisha was born on 3 March 2007 in Dasna. Her mother, Sitara, gave eighteen golden years of her life to Salma - and passed away after a long battle with kidney disease. Her father, Irshad, has also passed. Nisha is the eldest among seven sisters and a brother.
Nisha completed her primary education at Salma, then studied at Sant Mary Inter College up to Class 8. When her mother's health declined, family circumstances meant she could not continue into Class 9. She joined Salma as a helper instead - a quiet sacrifice that allowed her siblings to keep studying.
But Nisha is far more than her title suggests. She is the school's designated cook for events, capable of preparing meals for fifty people. She is an accomplished dancer and leads the cultural programme for Clearwater's "Khushi Ka Ek Din" event each year, teaching the children their dance routines. Whatever happens at Salma, Nisha is at the centre of it.
Principal Sheeba Ma'am writes of her with deep admiration: at just nine years old, Nisha would accompany her mother Sitara to school and quietly help with small tasks. That same spirit of quiet, faithful service continues today. Nisha has now found happiness in a new chapter — she is engaged to Sahil from Tigaon, a well-educated young man from a good family. Principal Sheeba Ma'am offers her warmest wishes for Nisha's bright future ahead.
