Syed Kashif Hasan

Stationery & Course Coordinator | Salma Public School
Kashif Hasan

"Zahoor Sir - my uncle, and the man who founded this school - his name is still among the most respected in Rataul. I am here to continue what he built."

Syed Kashif Hasan was born in Meerut into a middle-class Syed family. His father served as a House Tax Inspector in the Meerut Municipal Corporation, and his mother worked as a clerk in the Corporation's property division. He is the eldest of three brothers, and enjoys cricket, chess and travelling to new places.

Kashif completed his schooling at Sir Syed Academy and C.A.B. Inter College in Meerut, and earned his B.A. in English Economics from N.A.S. Degree College. He went on to work at A to Z Pest Management and later at HDFC Bank.

In 2022, he married Tarannum Bano - who teaches at Salma Public School. The following year, the couple moved from Meerut to Rataul, and Kashif joined Salma. He now handles the school's stationery supply and course coordination, and runs Syed Kashif Stationery Shop.

There is a particular significance to his joining: Zahoor Sir, the founder of Salma, was also Kashif's uncle (fufa). "He laid the foundation of this school and brightened the lives of the poor children of Rataul," Kashif writes. "His name is still among the most respected in Rataul." After Zahoor Sir, Nishat Ma'am carried the school forward - and now Kashif sees his own role as continuing that legacy alongside Sheeba Ma'am.

He is deeply appreciative of Clearwater Analytics' contribution: the digital boards, the Islahi Taleem after-school programme, the scholarships for promising students - all, he says, are works worthy of the highest praise. "The efforts of Anurag Sir, Harsh Sir and the entire Clearwater team for the mental and physical development of children are commendable," he writes. "I hope to walk step by step with them in taking Salma forward."
